Melanotan II stimulates melanin production, however it is generally recommended to be used alongside moderate, healthy sun exposure. Prolonged sun exposure is not necessary and should always follow safe sun guidelines.

It is generally recommended to start with a dose of around 250 mcg and gradually increase depending on your tolerance. For those who have used Melanotan II previously, starting at 500 mcg per day may be considered. During the initial loading phase, it is typically administered daily. Once the desired level of pigmentation is achieved, many users move to a maintenance phase and administer it 2 to 3 times per week.

Results can vary between individuals, however many people begin to notice increased pigmentation within the first one to two weeks when used alongside moderate sun exposure.

Unopened vials can be stored in a freezer to help prolong shelf life. Once mixed with bacteriostatic water, the solution should be refrigerated between 2 to 8°C and kept away from direct light.
